Welcome- I am an assistant professor of Economics and Political Science at Sabancı University. Before that, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy, and an Assistant Professor at Özyeğin University, İstanbul. I got my doctorate in Politics from the WILF Family Department of Politics at New York University in 2018.
I am a comparative political economists. My expertise covers a wide range of areas from development to conflict to education to sustainability.
I am a faculty fellow at the Association for Analytical Learning about Islam and Muslim Societies, and a research fellow at Global Relations Forum. I hold a B.S in Industrial Engineering and an M.A in Economics from Sabancı University. Before starting graduate school, I worked as a financial analyst at Industrial Development Bank of Turkey.
